Triota – Epsilon Rho Chapter
Our purpose is to encourage and support academic excellence in the Women and Gender Studies Program while also upholding our values of egaltarianism, inclusiveness, and celebration of our diverse and intersectional identities.
Triota is the triple Greek letter, lota lota lota, which is named after the three ancient goddesses Inanna, Ishtar, and Isis.
To be inducted into the Triota Epsilon Rho Chapter at St. Ambrose University, students need a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have taken at least 3 credits of any Women and Gender Studies course. However, anyone is interested to join our meetings and be a part of events on campus!
Contact us at triota@x-wingfashion.com or on Instagram @sau_triota if interested in joining.
Triota Events
Triota planned a full month of events for Women's History Month in March. We created a "Say Thank You to a Women Who Inspires You" table where we gave free postcards for people to write notes to those important and inspirational women in their life.
We also created some screen printed posters to hand out during March, hosted a Women's Trivia Night, and created a collage of names of inspiring women. We have also collaborated on events with other SAU clubs such as PRISM and Her Campus.
